Gareth Fronts Last Of BBC1’s “Tomorrow’s World” Updates.

To stem the steady trickle of e-mails asking if Gareth will be fronting another series of the live roadshows for BBC 1's Tomorrow’s World this Summer, garethjones.tv would like to formerly announce that no, Gareth won’t be presenting any more Tomorrow’s Worlds, and, no, nor will anyone else.

Not wishing to go down in history as “the Man who killed Tomorrow’s World” (!) we’d like to point out that it’s a matter of public record that the series had been officially cancelled in January 2003, long before Gareth was elected to come on board and present the series of live roadshows over Summer 2003.

“At the time, I knew this was a last gasp of the long running series” admitted Gareth, “But I was still pleased to be doing it. I watched Tomorrow’s World as a kid and longed to present the popular science series for many years, so it’s something of a relief that I managed to squeeze in there during it’s death throes, so to speak”.The live series of roadshows presented by Gareth were deemed a success by BBC1, who say they have other plans for Gareth, so watch this space.
