Oh I started to realise years ago
There might be a gap in the market
I had an idea about racing cars
And I needed somewhere to park it
We’ve got races in Spain and Japan
America and Viet Nam
So that’s why I wrote this tune
About having a race on The Moon

I know this sounds fantastic
And may have left you a little bit solemn
But the lack of air on the lunar surface
Ain’t an insurmountable problem.
I know engines won’t run in a vacuum so
Let’s have racing without the “vroom”
It is obvious to me
Use electricity
The solution is Formula E.
