The 6th series of The Big Bang was shot and broadcast early in
2001. This was to be Gareth and Violet's last series as the show's presenters,
as Gareth & Violet decided to concentrate on launching their own production
company WhizzBang TV.
The Big Bang continued for a short while with new presenters but was
cancelled by the ITV network in 2004.
