| The Big Bang was a children's
science entertainment show produced by Yorkshire Television and shown on
network CiTV dring the mid 1990s and early 2000s.

The programme was
conceived in early 1996 by the head of the YTV children's department:
Patrick Titley and was directed and produced by Colin Nobbs
The first two series were presented by Gareth Jones & Kate Bellingham (formerly of Tomorrow's World). Each show would have a couple of tricks, a strange-but-true story and a Big Bang Big Event, a make-and-do studio item and a visit to "The Bench".
